My son has an ASUS UX50V laptop and is having problems with a message that says he needs to back-up his files because there is a hard drive problem. He talked to the guys at Best Buy (Geek Squad) and the told him to check the connections on the hard drive. Problem is that I can not find anyway to get to the drive. I took all of the screws out of the bottom but could not get the bottom off. No help on the ASUS website. Anyone know how to get to the hard drive??
Thanks in advaince for your help.

I would say the Best Buy guy is wrong. Laptop hard drives do not just come loose on their own. They are securely mounted in the PC and there's no 'wiggle room' for them to disconnect. The warning you're getting is telling you the HD is crashing. It looks like a fairly new model and might be under warranty still . . . hopefully you didn't void the warranty by removing all those screws. If there is no warranty time left, maybe see if the HD is under the keyboard; lots of newer laptops put the hard drive under the keyboard.
