C: drive is default, has only 13.9 GB total memory, however, D: drive is meant to backup, but has 96 GB of space, total. Is there a way to correct. If so, will i need to reinstall everything so that it is on the correct drive. Thanks in advance

Is this one hard drive with 2 partitions? Or two seperate hard drives?

It's one hard drive with 2 partitions. It's getting annoying because I only have 2.5 GiB's left on the C:/ drive, but 60 on the D:/ drive. If I just switched them, it would be much easier to install programs.

Ok i take it you want to use the C drive, so you have to resize the partitions, the best way to do this would be to use a live linux cd only for its good partition editor. Ive resized a couple of mine and havnt had any data loss. If you use SimplyMEPIS you wont have to install linux and you will actually be able to resize your parations unlike with the paration editor that comes in windows.
