    Hey there,

I got myself a new laptop at christmas (Acer Aspire 5535). Now it comes with a 160GB HD, but its split in 2. The usual C:, and the other is D:. Now i have very nearly filled up the C drive and cant for the life of me figure out how to use the Data drive. Is there an easy way to 'merge' them? Will it just start using it one the C drive is full? Im proper puzzled. I have a feeling its going to be an easy enough thing to solve but when i was poking around the setting last month it crashed and i had to restore the damn thing! rolleyes Dont fancy doing it again :zzz

    Thanks in advance!

How large it the D partition? It could very well be that D is the restore partition Acer puts on the hd to restore it to factory defaults. If that is the case, you don't want to remove it.
Get yourself a USB connection type external hd and start migrating you documents, picture, music, etc. to that.

It is 69.5GB. Exact same as the C drive.
