hard drive not being seen by windows

Try here----read this......The one exception is the KNE111TX. The Kingston driver diskette must be provided when Windows asks for the driver.

It does not say it is comptable with vISTA, - YOU COULD TRY TO INSTALL IT IN COMPATABILITY MODE, IF YOU HAVE DIFFICULTY, OR, EVEN IN SAFE MODE- AND TRY DIABLING UAC CONTROL.

 

I have tried so much to find the drivers for these and I just can not get it to work. If I go and buy a new Ethernet card that is vista compatible, do you think this will solve this issue?

They are only about $15 bucks and they come with the install disk.

What do you think?

Well, believe it or not, Vista works great now. This version is Vista Home Premium and works great on my system. I purchased a new Ethernet card, vista ready, popped it in and everything works now.

The key was the have everything backed up so that I could do a clean reinstall.
