Hard Drive Partition

I am trying to fix my friends computer. His laptop has been rebooting after he noticed a antivirus pro 2010 message on the screen. Now it simply reboots after the windows logo screen. I tried to repair the drive with the installation disk and the drive shows as Partition 1 (unknown). I even tried to use the Recovery Console to just get to a prompt and C: is not even showing up. It only shows D which is the recovery drive. Nothing we've done has work and I'd appreciate you guys wisdom...lol Just trying to help my friend recover his school work.

antivirus pro 2010 is malware
Your friend needs to sign up and head over to the malware section of the board.

They should be able toi tell him how to stop the rebooting.

when he has the logs, he can continue in the thread where he explained about being infected with antivirus 2010 and in a reboot loop.
