Hard To Uninstall Programs In Win10

OK, so I saved my money until I could get a new to me computer, a Dell Latitude E7250. By many standards it might be a wimp, but it blew all my older computers away. My desktop literally soked (scaring my room mate), who was convinced the house was about to catch on fire. I am going through some critical health insurance renewals where I needed a working printer so I also bought a Lexmart C322 color laser printer to replace my balky malfunctioning HP CP1025nw, I was trying to uninstall the old software but one sole remnant refuses to go away. I am including a screen shot to show the problem child. Help?



Welp, that worked better in my head. I can put it in a .zip file if anyone wants a more pristine screen shot.

 

I'm pretty sure that is a leftover or abandoned driver so it does not have an uninstall function. It needs to be deleted.

If it isn't causing any errors or other problems you can just leave it alone. Everything below should be safe but you never know so if you are uncomfortable doing any of this then just leave it alone.

If you can find the file in your Program Files (Driver Store?) then you may be able to just delete it.

Or, use Device Manager and uninstall the driver from there. Open Device Manager Windows 10 (right-click Start menu and select the Search option and search 'Device Manager'). Find the driver > right-click > Uninstall. That should/might delete it.

If that doesn't work Wise Program Uninstaller has a 'Forced Uninstall' option that should remove (delete) it.

If all of that fails then you may need to reinstall the printer software then use Wise Program Uninstaller to uninstall it completely.
