Hardisk Enclsoure not detecting

hello,
My problem is when i insert the hd enclosure my laptop hang up, it will resume windows until i remove and insert again the battery, before the HD enclosure is not like that , all my backfiles are saved there and important.
When i plug in before it will open all the files. MY HD is not defective also the enclosure because it has power..

Sorry, jblim1980 but it sounds like your enclosure electronics or the enclosed hard drive has a serious malfunction. This happens sometimes, even with 'big name' brands.

If you post details of your enclosure, we may be able to find a likely cause and possibly a fix for it.

Have you tried to connect your enclosure to a different PC?

Hmm, the case was supplied with a hard drive fitted, yes?

Is there only one way to connect? Or is it a combo. USB2/eSATA/Firewire?

If there is a second way to make a connection, please try to find a compatible computer to connect it to: the AC Ryan forum has posts from customers who can connect one way but not 2 ways ...

You could send it back to your retailer (under warranty?) - BUT, they would only replace the external drive (possibly with a refurb), they will not recover your data

(I would remove the drive from the external case and connect it direct to a PC) But first, please try other ways to connect, maybe someone else here will have more ideas too

 

im finish isolating this one.. thanks for your ideas. it will detect the HD.. and saw all my data saved..

 

this one solved my problem because my brother enabled it he didn't disabled it that's it always hung., NOW, It's doing great and working ,did saw all my data saved..
