Very strange first off when i first built this computer i had some hardlock issue's but, they went away. I have not done any major updates or anything. I play WoW and been playing fine. I also play on steam CSS AND DODS. I recently installed it and within the first 10 mins the system Hardlocked no movement nothin just froze. So i said allwell. Went back to WoW hardlock as soon as i joined. Ok here's what i did so far. Updated the bios. i have tried different video drivers. Moved the ram around. Turned off all fans changed fan settings incase of powerloss. Turned clock speeds UP and Down nothing. Some times i can play but, now i am getting just hardlocks :( I have the latest directx9 Latest reltek a400 *Sound*. So here's my system specs.

    Asus m2n4-sli
    AMD 4000+ duel core
    RAM: Geil ddr2 pc6400 1.8v

    800w PowerSupply
    Windows Pro x64bit edition

In evntviewer.exe i get fault Event ID: 7023

The Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework service terminated with the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

All my Devices are working properly also have all the latest drivers and bios. Windows is completely updated. Anyone have any answers/suggestions. This is the only website i could find that looks like would be any real help. Thanks
This is my 8th build btw and i'm pretty much giving up ALSO i have tried 2 Different video cards. a 7300gs it still does hardlocks. Thanks

This appears to be to do with net framework. From what I can see it seems to be a problem when----
If you have not installed the net framework updates (1.-1.1, 2.0 ) before certain updates this sort of problem can occur.

It seems that you will most likely have to uninstall some microsoft updates, and even sp2, if your XP was, SP1 VERSION.
