    Hello all,

Yesterday I came across a free utility called "Hardware Helper" from "Driver-Soft Inc.

I ran the utility which reported that I had 54 drivers that were out of date and the programme said it could down load newer versions and install them.

Has anyone had experience of this utility, does it work, is it safe, and does it install the new drivers in the right order (if that matters for updates)?

    Any comment would be appreciated.

Don't bother with these types of programs as more often than not, they screw things up. The old adage applies here, 'If it ain't broke...'.

Agreed. GPU drivers are the only ones I update if I have a new game that is having problems. Let Windows 7 take care of the rest.

    Thanks, guys,

I thought as much. But it's nice to have a second (and third) opinion.

    Regards
    Jim
