We have a CAD lab at the campus i admin. Theres a computer here that keeps restarting when someone is doing CAD stuff. They all have 2gb ram and a decent vid card for cad stuff. i cant figure out for the life of me what could be causing it, and of course the people using the computers dont know what they did that could cause it. any ideas on some possibilities that could cause a computer to restart, hardware wise? over heating, bad ram, bad vid card??

Could be any of those things, bad ram, overheating, dirty case with the air vents blocked. All stuff to check out.

could it possibly be an overloaded processor??

    The first question is always
    did it ever work?

Consider also a failing power supply.
