I recently bought a wireless router and connected my laptop to my home network. I have Client for Microsoft installed on both my desktop and laptop to access each one from the other. I created a password for both, which is the same on each one. A few days ago, after accessing the laptop from the desktop, I noticed the laptop shut down about 20 minutes after I exited access from the desktop. Today, for the first time since then, I turned on the laptop and typed the password to log in. It wouldn't let me log in. Then I noticed that when I tried a different user name, certain keys on the keyboard on the laptop had different values than they should have. The keys affected are: 0, u, i, o, p, j, k, l, and m. Both computers are running Windows XP. Any ideas why this happened and how I could fix the keyboard values? I can still connect to the laptop from the desktop.

Never mind. Figured it out. Everything is ok now. Sorry for the wasted thread. Problem was with "Shift + Number Scroll Lock".

Not necessarily wasted, as your problem could also be someone else,s.
Your returning with the solution could help them.- Help goes both ways.
