Starting yesterday evey time I boot up my computer which uses windows xp with service pack 2. I get the message on a black screen with white letters "hardware profile configuration menu.... this menu allows you to select a hardware profile when windows is started etc."
then lists 1 profile which is highlighted. I have made no recent changes to my system. Anyway I select the only profile available by hitting enter and then the computer loads up the operating system and works just fine. However the next time I start up my machine I get the same message. How can I stop this from showing up every time I boot my compter?
