Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Harry Potter's out!!! YAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaY! I shouldn't be so excited about this but I am!! The book was amazing... Don't worry I'm not going to spoil it here.. I just wanted to say EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee a lot

i bought it last night, haven't opened it yet. All you people who bought it at midnight and had it done by dawn are insane, it's a book... chillax!

 

My GF was working at the local indie bookshop in a local mini-town the day it was released. She got a free Harry Potter tshirt and several temporary scar tatoos. She got enough so she could sneakily stick one to my head.

 

chris, you WILL wear one to school, along with your lab coat, just so everyone has a reason to yell harry potter at you

I read it yesterday, in between travelling miles and miles to look at a uni. there's less yelling then the last one but more.... slobber

 

I agree.. a lot more slobber.. and a lot more long-winded passages

 

yeah, but it was more relaxing reading then the last one, heh. the funeral was done quite well though... and what are the odds that (persons name here) will end up convincing harry that he killed (diff persons name here) so that harry could have a clear shot at (nasty persons name here)

ron and hermione will die in the next book too, i reckon

Its a book surely it cant be that good. Was it really worth girls quing for 18 hours to get a copy?

 

and what the hell's wrong with books? anyway, to those girls, I say: "pre-order"

 

My girls did that in the past. Pointy hats and cloaks and midnight parties outside the local Chapters.

It's all fun.

 

I personally wouldn't have queued up.. only because then i would be tired .. or maybe i'm just too darn lazy..

Read it in around 7 hours.. Yay! Beats last years 8 hours

 

Son bought it yesterday. Live in a small town; there were 10 copies at the local drug store. He got one before anyone else found out they had it in stock. I think he is about half way through it.

 

Havn't bought it, not got the money. I've not got the previous one yet either!

 

Local shops here can't sell them - they've cut the price to less than half price to shift them.

 

Im not a real big fan of harry potter but I probably will drop by the store and pick up a copy and read it anyways..

I had Jesse and Bethany pick it up at a midnight party (Eric and I went to a Mark Knopfler concert that night). Got it for $17.00. Just finished it about a half hour ago. Wasn't easy with the kids interrupting every couple of paragraphs. I'll have to read it over again soon. Maybe in a few days after I chew on it a bit.

 

im like halfway through it and all i have is conjecture and foreshadowing. It better pick up, damnit.
