Has anyone heard of this one????

Hi. I have a spyware item on my computer that I can't seem to get rid of. Initially I think it came onto my system as a downloader trojan virus. At least AVG indicated that I had 2 trojan downloader virus's when I first noticed the spyware on my computer. AVG couldn't heal them or anything. A description of the spyware is as follow: A toolbar with, gambling, dating, pharmacy, xxx, spyware and insurance. I also have a toolbar on my desktop with the same items, only they have a picture (for example a gambling picture) in a square box and if you point your mouse on it a sidebar appears with additional options. At the bottom you can exit it off your desktop but it appears the next time you boot up. I have SpyCop and it said I had a item called (I can't remember) something with usa at the end of it. SpyCop suggested that I just uninstall it which is what I did. I unistalled the program and the toolbar on my homepage but I wasn't able to unistall the toolbar on my desktop. I hope I explained it good enough. I've also run ad-aware and CCleaner. Thanks for you help. Matthew.

• Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
