Has anyone here had any experience fixing a wii?

Having some problems with mine and was wondering if anyone has had any experience fixing them or could recommend a good website that might be able to help me. Thanks!

Hi

Not off-hand but if you explain the issue then maybe it could spark an idea from me or othes as to where you can go or try, although most issues with Wii are hardware so maker is likely best bet to email or call with your issue.

Well, I will explain the issue and perhaps someone can offer a suggestion. If not that is quite all right. The problem I am is with the Wii reading discs. I will usually read them for 10 minutes or so, and then they will work like normal, but then after a bit I get an error that says "An error has occurred. Please restart the wii". It is not the discs themselves, because they are new and this happens on several different ones. I have tried cleaning the disc reading lens, but that did not help either. To send it back to the company will cost more than the wii itself is worth, so I thought I would see if I could resolve the problem myself.

Feel free to throw any suggestions that you have my way.
