Windows Defender didn't find anything, I am running AVG now and will run AdAware after that.

What is the reason for your posts? What malware problems are you having?

Please don't tell me Ad-Aware is telling you about cookies or MRUs!!!!! They are not problems.

The only steps you need to take on your PC are:
    • You need to update your Sun Java version as requested in the READ ME.
    • You need to uninstall the below as stated in step 0 of the READ ME:
      • Viewpoint Manager (Remove Only
      • Viewpoint Media Player

I really doubt it is a malware issue. It is probably a physical problem. Power Cycle your Cable or DSL modem and your router (if you have one) too.

You don't even have any protection software like an antivirus or true bidirectional software installed which could slow things down a bit but that is normal and necessary. The way you are running is very dangerous.

    I currently have AVG installed.

    No third-party firewall yet though.

Im runnin like 300 Ping now in servers I used to be pinging around 20.. And on servers that appear ok to begin with, I am pinging like 30 to begin with then goes and spikes on me up to around 200

So I have no idea what is wrong.. I have done all that every place I can find has said :(

If it is a physical problem, what can I do to fix it?

Did you power cycle the equipment mentioned?

    Uninstall CounterSpy!

Go to Start > Run and type in cmd
    • Click OK.
    • This will open a command prompt.
    • Type or copy and paste the following line in the command window:
      ipconfig /flushdns
    • Hit Enter
    • Exit the command window
Try stopping unnecessary programs from starting up. You can experiment with MSconfig to do this. (we don't normal recommend this while cleaning malware, but you don't have malware) If your problems are related to something that you are running, this may help you locate it. It could just be that the pathway from your PC to your game sites has changed and it is slower now. Try pinging your ISP and see what that looks like. Also try doing a trace route to your game site and see if you can tell where it slows down. Do you really need AOL? Is that your ISP?? At anyrate, this is no longer an issue for this forum.

Is the below stuff required for your games

Why did you install BitDefender Antivirus v10? You already had AVG installed! Do you have both installed now???? See step 3 of the READ ME.

However I repeat!!! Your problem is not malware.
