hasplms.exe service keeps terminating

Hi, newb to the forum, so not sure if this is in the right place...

I use an electronic dictionary in my work, which comes with a user license.

I recently changed my computer's antivirus to Avira and I am running ThreatFire alongside for added protection. In addition to these, I am running GeSWall firewall and WinPatrol (all free editions).

On the whole these all seem to work together fine, however I have recently started experiencing a problem, whereby each time I start up my computer and run the dictionary software, the hasplms.exe service stops and so my dictionary thinks it is unlicensed and does not load the content.

I can workaround the problem by each time restarting the service via the task manager, however, I'd rather sort out the problem to prevent it happening in the first place. It seems strange that once the service is restarted, it works fine, no matter how many times I open and close the dictionary software, yet when the computer is first started, the service stops every time without fail...?

Any ideas anyone? Would be very much appreciated!

P.S. I still have Windows firewall enabled too, however I have made exceptions for the License Manager (hasplms) in both that and GeSWall.

Problem sorted... Reinstalled service and used command prompt to restart service on failure...
