Have done everything you suggested RE SPYFALCON etc

Hi, Great site, thanks but,
Have followed all your instructions but still have a flashing green wheelchair/red no entry sign in my task bar which every 60 secs approx turns into a white box telling me I have a critical virus.
The only file I have Been unable to delete is ( appmagr.dll - 172 KB - application extension - Unknown application - created 16/05/2006 ) - every time I try, a window tells me I can't cos Windows is using it.
All this happens in or out of safe mode.
I have scanned many times with Spyware Doctor and Norton, both say I am clean but still got flashy things happening and can't get any sound.
Also smitfiles log says I'm clean.
OS - Windows 2000 pro - serv pk 4
Any ideas Please

Thanks for coming back but sorry I don't have the logs anymore - I didn't keep them as they said I was clean.
Good news though - I shut down for about 10 hours last night and this morning everything is fine except still no sound.I'm trying to re-configure that now.
Do you think it is hiding?
Also, strangely, though maybe not to you, when I turned on this morning my computer thought I had added a new bit of hardware and was asking me to insert VIA AC'97 disc - which I beleive is to do with my sound?

Yep, that would be your On-Board Sound Drivers. You'll need to reinstall those.
