have virus .its hard to scan your programs.suggestions?

My laptop w7 mouse is frozen on main boot and safe mode. I managed to install rogue killer but using tab I cannot get to location on rkiller to hit scan button. I am using correct tab key. Is there just a few programs I. Can run and post on here? Am I in a hopeless situation? Shame on me for not backn up files. On bootup "fun something pops up and all sorts of pop ups. I down loaded you tube video when this started. Thanks for any suggestions
