Have "we" Been Sold Out To The Highest Bidder?

    Nothing good there except competition. The politicians allowed others to sell that info long ago, just not by ISP's. My ISP has it in their policies they will NOT sell that information but stipulate they are required by law to gather it.

    So, once again we are to put our faith in the American free market, and hope for Greenspan's "flaw" to be non sequitur, as it were?

    Seems the Fourth Amendment would warrant a veto to me, and I like the Go Fund Me campaign. Saw it on Fark. Oops, can I say that here? It's not like I'm selling building blocks.

    The potential for it to be legal seems wrong but there is the other side of the coin where law enforcement would have valuable evidence from records. Regardless of provider policy, the potential exists for it to be legal for profit, instead of solely for the purpose of jurisprudence.

    I would vote no.
