...I have many, many problems. My machine won't let me open Notepad, so I can't save logs. When I go looking for the ones that are saved automatically so I can copy and paste them onto a flash drive, I can only get to the one from combofix and the ones from MGtools. The folder containing them in Malwarebytes is completely missing, though the program says it exists.

Can't do a system restore. Can't get the most recent build of Kaspersky. What do I need to do, please, to make this go away?

You need to attach the logs here so that we can help you. You don't need to run notepad to copy the logs. And why are you trying to copy the logs somewhere else. Just connect here and upload them to attach them to your next message. You are attaching the logs which again does not require using notepad.

The SAS and MBAM logs are in the below folders and again you just need to navigate to these folders and upload them. You don't need notepad. Repace USER with your actual user account name.

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\SUPERAntiSpyware.com\SUPERAntiSpyware\Logs

C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs
