Having problems w/ color and loading...

I have been working on getting a good reg. cleaner and finally found one that works real well and now I find that I am having issues with a negative color on my pages and with system loading too many pages at the start up. Please help me... I am so exhausted. THANK YOU!

 

What registry cleaner did you use? In some cases a registry cleaner can work too well, wiping out needed entries as well as unneeded ones.

To be on the safe side, I'd run Windows System Restore to a point before the video and system loading issues started and then try a less invasive registry cleaner (personally, I prefer Advanced System Care since I've never had it damage a registry during cleaning).

If the color issue still persists, go to the website for your video card (NVIDIA, AMD.com for ATI or Intel) to download and install the latest drivers.

Not sure what you mean by "too many pages loading at startup". If you're referring to programs or features that start up automatically when you turn on the PC, use the "Startup Manager" utility in Advanced System Care to disable items that are not critical to the startup (media players, DVD burning programs, toolbars, etc.). This will not erase them from your system; it will just leave them turned off unless you click on the icon to start them manually.

The Advanced Reg. Optimizer is the one I used. I got it from MG but I used about 4 different programs before I found this one and this one did the job for me. I have run Avast and Spybot S&D and RegScrub XP until I got no more virues and malware warnings. I make things more difficult than it really is, but I like to be thorough with everything I do.
