having problems with yahoo im

first I wish to thank everyone for previous problems and the fast response..it did help alot this is a GREAT site..

I did all of the things listed in a previous message but when I went to use yahoo today (did not try it last night) I wrote something to a friend and could not see what I wrote in the message section...and when someone would post back I could not see that post either...I did email yahoo but god knows how long that will take....I have a windows 98se..op

I've seen this before,but only if you have gotten booted from a room,these booters leave traces of there dirty work behind. Have you tried to uninstalling and reinstalling Messenger,you will not lose your friends list doing this.

 

yes did reboot and uninstalled and reinstall....also it happened after running adware etc to check ffor bugs and such that may mess up computer
also can not access hotmail from explore either....can access everything else but hotmail
