Having to log in.

    Until a couple of hours ago, I could come here straight from the Speed Dial button on my Opera browser.
    Now, all of a sudden, I have to log in with the user name and password.
    Have NOT made any changes to my machine or browser settings.
    "Remember me" is also checked at the log in page.
    What is causing this?

    PC Gremlins prehaps.

    Maybe an update to Opera, have you run any cleanup tools and if so any new ones? other than that dont know and IE9 RC, Opera *11.10 Alpha build 20.25* and Minefield *4.0b13pre* all work fine for me in logging in automatically, so it may just be one of those things, just see if it happens again and if it does start a thread in the Software forum.

    Thinking it was just a machine hiccup or something.:confused
    Had not run any scans or cleanups prior to that happening, but it must have cleared itself up.
    Seems to be working fine now.

    Computers have a mind of their own Hrlow.... PITA sometimes, they cause issues one minute then the next they make an ar$e of us when they work ok!

    Glad all is working ok now with the forum as I would have investigated more if you didnt have a resolution to this, so cheers for feeding back as I will look at forum issues closely.

    This one must have been MG, because it was the only site that did it. But it's fixed, and I'm glad.

    Could have been a cookie issue as I know in the past we have had a gremlin with them, was more the reporting of what members where online at a given time.

    But good on it being fixed.
