    Hi

I need to reinstall windows xp, but it says it cant detect the hard drive. I have since learned a need a driver on a floppy disk for the via sata hd (scis). I hope that makes sense but i cant find a driver which will fit on to a floppy disk. the only ones i can find are about 11mb big.

any ideas will be very much appreciated and save me from suicide.

asus k8v se deluxe mobo via chipset
ati radeon x800 xt pe gfx card

I don't think you are going to find the drivers on flopyt for your SATA driver. Have you considered making a slipstreaming the drivers onto a XP CD with nLite.
