    I have two questions now.

    1) What is the best temperature for HDs to run at? Mines running at around 46 degrees C.

    2) I have three HDs, (160GB, 40GB, 40GB) with two sticks of DDR RAM (256 x 2), one optical drive, external 3.5 floppy, wireless network adapter (USB). Will all this run on a 200W PSU? or is it a necessity that i upgrade to 400W?

well i think ur hard drive temperature is fine but may be just bit high ... yes if ur gonna add all that stuff u must have atleast 300W of power supply or more

    because 200W wont cut it

motherboard monitor is what I use to get my HDDs temps(they're all western digital). You have to set it up to get the hard drives temps though it doesn't automagically tell you from the start. But it only takes a few minutes to look through the interface to set it up correctly. But make sure your motherboard is on the compatibility list, if you're using a computer like HP or sony, etc it most likely won't read the temps correctly.
