I have a folder listed in "My Computers" (Other) category under ( Hard Disk Drives)

ive had this for sometime now and suffer from harddrive damage , data loss, and bluescreens/last one was

If the HDD has physical errors, it's not worth trying to save. Norton has an app that marks bad sectors as unusable; but once you have one bad sector, usually others follow. Did you run the chkdsk and sfc /scannow from the command prompt? Try also formatting the HDD.
