    Hi everyone...

I have a 160GB Seagate SATA HDD, of late i have been experiences some problems. My computer got stuck leading me to reboot it. But the computer failed to boot. Using a bootable CD i tried using Acronis Disk Director Suite. Its says cant read from Sector 0. The HDD is detected in the BIOS , but i cant access my partitions. This is the second time this is happening. Last time when it happened i connected it to my friend's computer and after a few trys it miraculously it got detected and i managed to backup some important data. This time I wasnt lucky enough. Is there any way i would be able to recover the data?

    My system's config is:
    P4 3.2Ghz
    Intel 915GAV
    1 GB RAM
    160GB SEAGATE SATA HDD

it seems to me that your drives MBR sector is messed up, so you need to fix it. You need to boot into recovery console and dun there fixmbr operation:
