HDD Not found w2k->XP Pro update

When I updated my software from W2K to XP Pro one of my harddrives was not detected by XP.

The computer has two Harddrives, both Seagates.
Disc 1 is a 16GB SCSI-drive connected to the motherboard with a Tekram SCSI-card. This drives contains the OS and a bunch of other essential stuff. This drive was found by XP and is working without any problems.

Disc 2 is a 60GB Seagate Barracuda IDE and is the only IDE-device in the computer (DVD and CD-RW are also SCSI) It only contains games, movies, mp3:s and other stuff not used by the OS. Disc 2 is detected by the BIOS and is working in DOS but it's not detected by XP. I've tried switching between the two IDE-connectors on the motherboard and the HDD is still detected by the BIOS but not by XP. Disc2 is for example not found by Partion Magic if used in XP, but found if run in DOS-mode. I've tried to force XP to search for new hardware not none is found.

Both discs are FAT-32 formated, The motherboard is an Abit KT7A v1.3 with the latest BIOS. I'va also installed the latest 4-in-1 drivers from VIA for the chipset.

What should I do to fix this problem??

 

Have you check Computer Management to see if it is listed?
It may need a "signature".

Right-click on My Computer and select "Manage". Then choose Disk Management.

 

Tried using the "Rescan Disc" tool you suggested in Disc Management. Still no trace of the second harddrive in XP
