i have hdd desktop seagate 400gig here ide (from a friend)
its been used and thats all what i know
i put in my Philips enclosure but cant be detected in windows
But in Disk Management, its there- and its says 372.61gb Healthy (unknown Partition)
If i right click, only Delete Partition and Help is accessible
i need to recover files (using Recover My Files) how can i do that?
do i need to delete first the partition (im sure then it can be detected in windows)?
can i still recover the file if i delete the partition?
or is there any other option?

only the very important is to recover the files.... :cry

    Thanks in Advance

Open Disk Management, and right click on the bold print where it lists the drives as Disk 0 or Disk 1 or whatever. You should get the option to Initialize Disk or Initialize Drive. If you do that, you should be able to recover the data. Maybe try booting to a PECD or the UBCD4Win, and use one of the utils on there.
