    Hi.
My HDD is dying. I have downloaded some online software on my old XP. Will I be able to transfer this stuff onto a new HDD? The software is unique and unavailable now. Thanks David

If you are posting from the same machine then cease doing so, get anew drive and copy what you need. The more you use the machine the sooner the drive will fail. Do it now!;)

I have a new dell studio 1749 i5. The Xp is used like a call girl ;) I fearlessly go where most won't.I pulled the plug to bad she's packing it in , its been well used. I recently had a Malware issue and performed a cleaning. It has been running awesome for a 9 year old. Should buy a new tower or should I just purchase a used HDD from ebay. My wife's Mac Book suffered grey screen of death:( thankfully you can buy an HDD for $50. 3 screws later she up and running. No not my wife. :-D
    Thanks David
