I wondered that, I noticed all of them can speak as can most deaf people but it must have been really hard to learn to make the right sounds without hearing them.

I know what this person went threw i was deaf up till about 9 could not even speak properly i was in the hospital a lot they did 5 surgery's on my ears and 2 on my throat.

Took a lot of time to heal i can hear and speak perfectly fine now.

People wonder way i hate doctors spent part of my life in the hospital.First thing i ever heard was thunder from a rain storm.Kinda odd don't you think:-D.

 

Goldenskull, could you understand spoken words? I am still wondering about how a formerly deaf person could understand spoken words.

I had a mastoidectomy as a kid, they pretty much removed a big chunk of bone and skull from inside my ear. Only recently found out that's why it get's infected all the time because the ear can't clean itself. It's infected right now, it's aching, I have a headache and I'm on a strong course of antibiotics which is the only thing that clears it up.

The damn ear doesn't work anyhow and I have to go through this crap for 2-3 weeks a couple of times a year, better than dying I suppose.

Best way i have found to clean out your ear lobs if they are small like mine.

Is too get a bottle of Peroxide have some body poor a little tiny bit into ear and let it tingle for about a min or so then turn your head around and use a towel.And repeat with second ear. do one at a time.

This is the same kinda method doctors use only they use water and a pump and a hose this is much better way.

Fare warning on this method you will fell some pressure and lots of tingling from the peroxide.Remember too use a hand rag or towel.

If you got a cold this might help some.

 

lol I can't even use regular ear drops let alone peroxide.

I do like the idea of using rocket fuel to cure ills though:-D

 

Sounds like a Tripe to the doctor is in order to me then.You must have smaller ear lobs then i do.I do have trouble putting in ear plugs so i walk around with out them.:-D
