99 Friday, 99 today, 101 tomorrow, all with high humidity. Not my favorite part of the weather cycle. I have to cut the grass tomorrow, and that's the extent of my outdoor life this weekend.

I find it ironic that it's about 15 degrees hotter with about 40% more humidity in Michigan than it was in Honolulu. Got home Saturday and thought I was gonna die. Drought we ain't got any more, finally...it rained most of last night through 'till morning, and we're supposed to get more Monday and Tuesday. Of course, it's still supposed to be 95 degrees....

Toronto Canada, we have a continuous heat wave since early May, which is uncommon. Just a fews ago we had snow on the ground during May, and have a few major snows storms as well. It seems the summers are becoming shorter and longer winters.

Temperatures so far from May 1 to current day of July 26 remain extremely HIGH, ( in the low to mid 90's ) + the relative HUMIDITY, it becomes very uncomfortable.

Severe thunder storms, and a few Toronado's have touched down in un-expected area's.

Major, downpoors, of rain in certain area's. Causing extensive damage, flooding main streets in several towns outside Toronto Canada.

However, we have had little or no rain at all with the exception of a few light showers, lasting only a few minutes. With the HOT pavement, the temperatures, remain HIGH and the Humidity even higher.

VERY STRANGE and different weather pattern?

We had a SERVERE winter last year...and certainly not looking forward to another HARSH winter again.

Southeast BC. We've had lots of rain and relatively cool temps. We've had a FEW hot days but not like normal for summer here. Minimal lawn and garden irrigation required so far, however, my vacation starts next week, and some hot weather would be nice. The huge benefit so far is no forest fires or closures, so we can do stuff on our vacation.

i really sympathize with all you guys. when i was traveling in the US , we were followed by a heat wave. (1995?) the hottest it got was 115. my car didn't have air-conditioning.

i was wondering? is there anywhere that has the same climate as this (Hawaiian)? how would i find out? is 'temperate' the right term? or is this a 'micro-climate', and/or unique? interesting. the only thing i remember from school is that england has 'Warm, Wet, Westerly, Winds'. lol.

Most all of the Pacific coastline is moderate. The ocean keeps it cooler in the summer, and warmer in the winter. Just don't go too far inland. ;)

Whew, Its been hot in Mississippi! The heat and humidity are killers on the coastline. I think GT knows what im talkin about (fellow mississippian that he is). I looked on a drought map and oddly, Mississippi is decent with bad drought on the coastline right next to the water. Humid, yet a drought (doesn't make much sense).

I agree with GT on the weather down here!

This entire thread just reinforces why I avoid going outside as much as possible . . . just too much weather and stuff . . . and what's with the sun, anyway? There should be a pull-chain or a switch on that thing, by golly! :p
