    After cleaning my car, ofcourse....I decided, what the hell...I'm gonna see what you were talking about!! Obviously, after a little reading...as you obviously know, and I came to find out...this has apparently been an ongoing issue with many for awhile!! But I found this....

    Oh yes.. I will try that one Roger, its a massive issue at present with vista x64 and the lack of certain drivers, I just seem to end up waiting for the same 3, I do have some specific ones to test I aquaired earlier... going to be an ongoing major problem in 6 months I feel, Vista + Drivers, but will also try those out too so Cheers and looks like you have another CERT ;)

    Will let you know how or if they work.


    BTW seeing as we are in lounge and I should ask if I'm really stuck for drivers in the Driver forum, but not gone that far as yet.... so on that tack, and as you are washing your car, leads me to have a new question for you and everyone....



    What is your washing routine, is it rinse, wash, rince, dry , wax... or something else?

    Ah so same as I do Roger, and specific wax you use.... I have used Autoglym and Mer in the past.

    I am a FIRM believer in Meguiars!!!!

    They have a COMPLETE line of auto detailing products from start to finish, including a full line of polishes and waxes for every different kind of polishing/waxing project!! Some are as simple as a lustre enhacner for the freak (like me) that likes to wax their car once every two weeks so that it is the shiniest and slickest car in town...or they also have multi-step polishes/waxes whereas you buy step one to cut the oxidation, then buy step two to cleanse the paint, then step three to remove swirls, and step for to rebuild the clear coat and so forth and so on!!

    I am particularly fond of their tire shine!! It is like spraying pure silicone on the tires!! Their is no wiping (except wiping the overspray off the wheels, so it doesn't damage alloy finishes) and it stay ultra shiny!!

    No go on the driver as yet, wouldnt install, but cheers.

    Shucks...that sucks...I was hoping maybe we was onto something here!!:rolleyes: :(

    BTW...just curious cause of some of the reading I was doing on this issue...what I found seemed to be related to HP's...so I was just curious what kind of system you was working on with this issue!?!?

    @ Lev...you laugh about that...we actually have a bus driver at work that waxes his legs (he claims he is an avid cyclist) but he seems a little on the feminine side too!! But anyway...half the women at work are totally jealous of his legs!!:eek: :eek: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

    Myself...the only hair removal that happens on my legs is the pant leg rubbing against the back of my thighs!! So there!!:p :p ;) :)
