How are you all doing?

New here I am a 19 nearly 20 year old computer technician at a college I love repairing machines and offering help and guidence when ever possible

Just wanted to drop in a hello before I go sort out my sig/avatar and read the rules

I'm assuming a yam ain't a sweet tettie? And yan ain't Martin Yan, the Chinese chef? I know marra, we got that over here. Our dialects are incredibly varied, even though I ain't that far away from you, I haven't a clue what you on about. :-D

A word of advice be fore warned of some of the locals here:duck, as they no not what they say. They tend to put the car in 1rst gear before starting the engine:-D,. Day off work today so I can get some propper browsing of the site done
Seeing this place really makes me wish I didn't let my forum die - might have to make a new one one day.

 

The great thing about this site is that we can have a laugh and a joke plus hopefully learn a little along the way.
One thing you find here is that no matter how unusual the question there will always be someone who will have an answer and you will not get flamed for asking.

 

Thats great to know, nothing worse when on a tech forum and you see some one new to computers asking a question which may seem to be simple and some one just gives them abuse or silly answers.

hello am new here,need some direction. I tried to load my webcam but I keep getting a notice that the device is unknown.It happened after my daughter loaded her 20.00web cam and from that point on I couldn't use the webcam.

You will get more responses if you post a new thread in the hardware section!

Have you tried removing both devices and reinstalling the drivers for the webcam you want to use?

The wellies joke, is for any mucca (Man or Boy) living in the countryside and is a yakker (Farm Worker) ! But as the captain lives outside the countryside he dosen't seem to possess a pair of wellies in any case ! He borrows a pair for when he takes a trip to the countryside :-D:-D:-D !

 

Lmao! I don't!!! I wear a pair of Etnies skate shoes I will have you know!! And when ever I go around the Country side its in my Punto on a road trip not in a tractor on a plowing mission before you say it!!! haha
