    Had problems running Super AntiSpyware, though I was able to run it after Combofix had run.


    Computer was hanging at random intervals from 5 - 45 minutes after booting into windows (required a restart), blue-screened once.

    New build, never had problems with it before, but I let the anti-virus lapse for a bit, because I'm an idiot.

    Pretty sure it's solely a malware problem, checked for hardware issues.

    Logs are attached.

    rootrepeal seems to be having some trouble running.

    It hangs (not responding) when i run the file scan as directed, both in XP and in safe mode.

    I am not seeing any malware. Combo reported that it found and fixed an MBR infection, but I am not seeing any evidence of it.

    Combo also reported these files missing:
    g:\windows\System32\wscntfy.exe ... is missing !!
    g:\windows\System32\ctfmon.exe ... is missing !!

    Go to start / run / type:
    sfc /scannow and have your xp disc handy. Run it at least twice.

    Tell me what issues you have.
