Help a n00b PLEASE

I dont no what happen, but i had loaded fear the game (demo) oto my computer, and since then when i bootup the computer the first thing i notice is that when the DELL logo loads and the splash screen small dots in columns are present in a green colour like in the matrix. Anyone help, the computer is less than 2 yrs old, and i got a Nvida 6800 geforce 256, and a Lg hybird flat screen

Also reinstalled windows, well first i reformated the computer and then partitioned in , however, i have a 80gb it said after deleting everthing that it was 76gb then installing XP again it said that 1.6gb is used (xp) i thought partitioning in resulted in puting the XP on the 4gb (in this situation) of the hardrie?

 

Hi. Don't know about your funny screen, will give it some thought. I usually put xp onto a 20GB partition. You may find yourself with a low disk space error message pretty soon if you load xp onto a 4GB partition. Good night and good luck.

 

Hi. Just for giggles, go to Control Panel (should be able to get there from the Start Menu), then double-click on Display. Change your screen resolution to something else, then back to the native resolution for your monitor. Also, click on the Settings tab, then the Advanced Settings button, and see what color profile is selected. Let us know what you get. Good night and good luck.

 

dun that, Total recks the screen. I load drives Then restart computer then afer the xp splash screen is just dots. I flash the bios, reformated the computer change screens rung dell and nothin changes

 

The video card driver loads just after the xp screen,its looks as though the driver your using is corrupt,start in safe mode F8 as the computer loads see if the dots dissappear if so the driver your using is corrupt,download this and run it according to the read me,follow it carefully or corrupt driver will not be removed

Hase you checked what temperature the card is running at in video card settings,check the fan on the card is still spinning and free of dust also

EDIT can you navigate windows at all at this point with a driver installed?
