Help Building Computer!!!

hey can anyone talk to me on AIM or MSN or something? so someone can help me build a gaming computer??

 

then i can post the specs of it on here, and then ask everyone if all the parts can work or not incase the evil person that helps me on msn or aim gives me bad info lol... b/c i wanna build my new computer this week hopefully!!

It is always good spending someone else's money , when it comes buying to buying computer parts i am like an addict just can't get enough.

 

alright ill just post everything up here now... ok well... i wanna build a computer for like $850 - $900 ... or slighty over it...

AMD Athlon "64 or XP" 3000+ .. im not sure..

XFX nVIDIA GeForce 6800 Video Card ... just the plain 6800 will be nice i think... will it work nicely for HL2 and DOOM 3?

X-Connect 500-watt PSU .. is that good? someone told me it was awesome

i want any case that will fix my stuff good

maybe like 1 gig of RAM... or would 512 work fine? or maybe someone a little higher *shrugs* lol

i have no clue what motherboard i need, but i of course, want one that works with everything right

harddrive... i just want atleast 60 gig, or something higher if its cheaper or something lol

Windows XP .. i lost my one to my current desktop and my laptop... my luck!!!

ok well did i miss anything? i did it kinda fast but the top 3 things is what i wanna get and the rest is what you all think i should get.. or maybe theres something better then the top 3 for cheaper? can someone PLEASE take the time to find all the parts i will need to successfully make a complete computer and make everything work right in it so everything fits please? i hear good things about the MSI K8N neo

 

ASUS!!! plenty fast and rock solid, from experience I'll also put 1 in for Nvidia, as much MATCHING RAM as monetarily possible and would go a little bigger on the HD, at least 80GB 7200RPM If ur gonna run it hard, spend a few on cooling when getting a case and PSU! Some places will sell u an OEM copy of XP when buying parts and try to get Pro if possible, I have both and Win XP Pro rules HE. Just my $.02
