I've only burned cds using iTunes and sometimes the cd don't come out right.
What I mean is either: Some songs don't play at all, some songs play but sound scratchy and starts skipping.
Any suggestiong for burning cds? Should I try a different program?
    Help! Thanks in advance.

How are you getting your songs, downloads or off of another cd? Usually, if they come off a cd the sound quality will be good but if downloaded, the quality varies. If I am ripping songs to make a mix CD, I usually don't worry about the quality. If I am burning down loaded songs, I always listen to them, first. I drag the low quality ones into a temporary folder. Then I will run them thru Nero's Wave Editor and do what I feel is needed with them (remove hiss, clicks, improve the dynamic's,etc.) You may have to play with them some to get the sound YOU want. I burn them either with Nero or Windows Media Player 11.
Here is a list of software on MG's site that will help you do the job:

Some other things to keep in mind.

If your burning downloaded music check what format the songs are in. Some older CD players can not read MP3 files. If you burn in mixed formats it would explain why some songs play and others wont.

    Thanks

    I download.
So since I convert every song in my iTunes library to ACC format after I download them, then convert them to apple lossless (supposely for hight quality) then burn the cd would that affect it in any way?
    Should I burned them as mp3? I don't mean making a mp3 cd.

I'm not real familiar w/ iTunes, but I have downloaded tons of music as mp3's and several other formats. I use an app called 'Burrrn' (link below) to convert the music to std. audio format and burn to CD's. It's EASY to use and has never turned out a bad CD.... try it if this applies to your situation....

    GOOD LUCK!!!!
