HELP --Can't download

I dont know whats going on I have mozilla and explorer I cant seem to download anything it starts then quits ----- and i retry and same thing happens any suggestions :cry

 

might be your firewall blocking the downloads.

shut down your firewall temporarily and see if that solves it.
if not post back.

 

no --- it didnt work, and now i cant manage add-ons on the explorer bar I have a Dell computer now --- if i knew how to do a system recovery on this thing i would

 

Are you not able to download anything with either one of the browsers?

 

no mozilla stops on its own and dont finish down loads and i cant enable add-ons on the explorer tool bar - i tried to uninstall windows live one care (or whatever its called) I have a dell dimension 2400 and have know idea how to do a system recovery the restore didnt work either

 

How far back did you go on the system restore? Do you have any idea when your system became unstable or what made it unstable so you have a better idea of how far to go back to with the system restore?
