Help!!! CD Burner Problems

Hey all, I got on my pc tonight to burn some music and have some problems. My D drive is not showing up any more. Its there though....I see it...LOL...seriouly the device door opens and closes, the light runs like it is reading, and when I go into the device manager I get this error:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

I have tried to uninstall, reboot and allow the computer to reinstall it but it still doesn't work. I am at my wits end with this thing...this was the last thing I needed tonight....

Anyone got any ideas????

My pc is a Dell Dimension DIM2400 Celeron® CPU 2.40GHz 2.39GHz, 256 RAM, I am using Windows XP if that helps....

 

We need more info on your CD burner.
