Help Changing NAT? Ive tried everything...

I know I should be posting this in an Xbox forum but they are all retarded. So I came to yall. Anyways, I was wondering if there is any way to change my NAT (Strict). I am bypassing my router and going straight into the wall. Is there anything I can do to change my NAT settings or is it all up to my ISP?

 

NAT is needed to use two computer or Game boxes when you have only a single conncetion.

If you do not want to use a ANT contact your ISP and find out the cost of two external IPs on the connection.

Certain ISPs will allow you to in theory "share" your WAN IP but this can be sometimes a more complex setup I am going to agree with cat5e on this one. Keep in mind I said in theory.

 

This also comes up on my 360 when i go to play matchmaking on halo 3. but it still alows me to play. It just is a warning that it could result in slower speeds just because yo are sharing your internet connection with other machines. If it lest you log onto live but you experience slow play or cant acces certain stuff then their is something wrong. other than that if its just a warning then dont worry about it. just dont download stuff while you play live.

BTW you can check your NAT settings by going into your router on the web browser. Just type in 192.168.X.XXX x being replaced by you LAN ip. once your are in there should be a setting to change it. Most likely it is just going to be enable/disable
