I have a wmv file on my desktop that i am trying to delete. When i try to send the file to the recycle bin, i am getting a message saying "Cannot delete. The file or directory is corrupt or unreadable" I get the same message if I try to move the file to a different folder. Can anyone give me some advice on how to delete the file? My computer knowledge is somewhat limited. Thanks in advance

Actually corrupted files are not an issue for the malware forum unless it was a malware type file.

How did the file get put there to begin with?
Who downloaded it and from where?
How long has it been there?
What is the full file name? Is it a very long jibberish type name?
Did you try deleting it in safe mode?
Have you tried renaming the file?
Have you tried a tool like this: Pocket KillBox
