While I agree this is a very worthy cause and a VERY serious issue that touches close to home for me to many sticky's clutter up the forum...which reminds me...I need to unstick the one in the lounge about the profile pics...it's been stuck up there long enough;):)

I think maybe we should revisit this in October when it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month.:)

First off, my wifes family was affected personally by this also, she, thank god, has not suffer from it as yet, tho she did have cervical cancer, which was treated successfully. Both breast and cervical are two types of cancer(colon also) which have a very good prognosis if caught in time, which is what screenings are all about, but the poor don't benefit from these as much. I believe that is what that simple "click" is all about.
We ALL get busy busy on the net every day, and even tho we may bookmark the page, doesn't mean we ALL will remember
It doesn't have to be an open thread, just a title of "click to fight breast cancer", with the info and link inside.
OR there's a LOT of empty space around the forum pages how about a link to the "clicky", you can't tell me that either idea is impossible.

Now stage two- I am a "folder", I learned about "folding" here at MG, I jumped on the chance to "potentially" help cure terrible diseases that dibilitate and strip people of dignity. I leave my one 1gig PC on almost constantly now.
The folding@home has it's own forum(w/basement ;) ) which no one considers "clutter", because this is a good cause.

Well so is the breast cancer link, in fact, it doesnt need to be talked about, it just has to be remembered, and each "click" goes toward "providing" a screening that could catch the "culprit" before the the suffering is enevitable.

In closing folding and the breast link actually go hand in hand, one uses your PC, the other only takes your finger and a choice ;)

P.S.- I think someone should run this up MA's flagpole, and see if he salutes :D
