    Dell XPS M-140 laptop
    Windows XP Media Center
    512MB RAM

Upon booting the machine, goes immediately to Safe Mode screen.
Any of the 4 options will look like it is loading, but goes right back to the same page again. No error codes or messages show.
Checked hard drive and it and memory are all secure.
Any way out of this endless cycle?

They have numerous photos and files that would be lost to them.
Would a repair reinstallation (non-destructive) be a good alternative?
I do have an XP disk, but Home edition.

Use a Live Linux CD/DVD to backup files.
