HELP!!! i am infected with worm_bagle.ko - mdelk.exe

    worm_bagle.ko - mdelk.exe

    I have been infected with the virus above, i've had a look at the other threads, none of them work please help me. I am running Windows XP SP2.
    I know where the virus is but it doesnt allow me to delete it, i cannot use antivirus software or many of the programs you guys have been using like ComboFix and avenger.CCleaner works, i ran it but it didnt delete the file.

    Please Someone Help!

    Hey, i already have done that, but now i have a slight problem. I wanted to start the computer up in safemode so i went on to msconfig and changed boot to safemode, but now everytime i go on it comes up with a bluescreen. I cant use the copmputer anymore, i need the files from it PLEASE HELP what do i do now???? . Is there anyway of getting the files from the computer, i cant format because i need the files. PLEASE HELP ME

    I'm not sure why you tried to boot in safe mode at this time. If you had already completed the READ ME you should have attached the logs to your first message.

    Do you have a bootable Windows XP CD? If so you can use it to boot to the Recovery Console and change rebuild your boot.ini file which will remove the /SAFEBOOT option that is forcing you into safe mode. You can read about this here:

    I would make a copy of your boot.ini file first from the recovery console prompt by doing the below:

    cd c:\
    attrib -r boot.ini
    attrib -h boot.ini
    attrib -s boot.ini
    copy boot.ini boot.ini-save
