Help i need a link for....

Hey all,i wasn't sure where to post this.I am trying to find a site that gives brief explanations of computer terms,file types etc.Kind of a computer/website dictionary that explains/describes various computer stuff in "Laymans" terms.An example,if i wanted to know what a ".Gif ". file was or what "Bandwidth" means etc.Thanks in advance.

As with ALL online terminology indexes there are certain things absent...they are all a work in progress. The point is: Why immediately go to another site for something when you are already here and chances are what you are looking for is too. We prefer members to link to things here first..that policy will not change.
