hi im new to this forum and im try in to frind drivers for a laptop im fixin and i can find the drivers i need to save to gig stick and install in the lap top plz any sugestions ty for your time

You will need to give specifics such as the make and the model of the laptop to start.

To follow on from Laura

If your PC is one from the likes of DELL, HP, Sony, etc what is the Make and model varient as this will assist us if we need drivers?

If your PC is a home or custom build what is the motherboard make and version?

To find this info you can use the likes of Everest to find this info, at times a summary log of your PC can help, to do this

Install Everest and run
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose All Pages > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

Try DriverMax. Though it only allows two drivers per day for free, it works pretty well.

One issue with the likes of Driver Max is they dont or cannot always find the correct driver they list gneric ones and many OEM PCs come with customised hardware and drivers, Audio is one of the main drivers that is customised so while the likes of Realtek may have a unified driver, its not always going to work with say a HP, DELL PC thats got a custom chip.

This is what many users are having driver issues and in the main with Audio due to using applications like this.

Best is to goto the makers site and download the specific driver for the model of PC, hence why we need more info from the original Poster as to PC make and model or Motherboard make and model.
