Help. I'm infected.

Windows XP Pro, SP2
IE 6, Firefox
Not sure how or where I picked it up, but it's a persistent little devil.

I have already done:

• Multiple McAfee On-Demand Scans—the last one found nothing, but previous ones did.
• Multiple Lavasoft Ad-Aware scans. The last one turned up nothing, but all previous ones did.
• Multiple Spybot S&D scans—as before, the last one turned up nothing, but previous ones did.
• All the things you request on your READ & RUN ME FIRST page.

Based on the scans in that last item, I am pretty sure there are still nasty little beasties lurking on my system.

I am attaching the files you request on that page. I might need a second post to send them all...

Thanks for whatever help you can give me. I want this thing off my machine, the sooner the better, and hopefully without having to completely reformat and start over!

Let's start by running ComboFix...

1. Download this file - combofix.exe
2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Attach this log to your next reply

Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Once you complete the above, attach fresh logs from the below.

• GetRunKey
• ShowNew
• HijackThis
• ComboFix

 

Our IT guy worked on it yesterday, and he says that my machine is now clean. Thank you for all your help!!
