 I have been using Adaware, spybot and now MS antispyware. I also use AVG, and webroot spysweeper. I looked at the link here to remove spyware and adware. I still have purityscan popups. I have searched the web and other forums and I can't find anyone (yet) that understands this one. Any advice is appreciated. I have W2000. Thanks.

I've never had a problem removing Purity Scan from users' machines . . . Did you look in Add/Remove Programs for ClickSpring or Purity Scan? Sometimes they can be removed that way.

Did you follow the Cleanup Tutorial completely - including the Online Scans? If so, please send us a HijackThis Log. Be sure to follow the instructions below:

Note that your HijackThis should be up-to-date (v1.99.1) and MUST be extracted to its own safe folder – C:\Program Files\HijackThis ! Should you need a Fresh Download of HJT, get it HERE: HijackThis v1.99.1

Also note that, before you scan, you MUST close all running programs including your web browser, e-mail and items in the system tray.

Please save your HJT Log as a .txt File and attach it via the "Manage Attachments" tool in the Additional Options section when you post.

    PP :)
